Advanced-age infertility treatment focuses on improving fertility outcomes for women over 35, who may experience reduced egg quality and quantity. Initial approaches include ovulation induction with medications like Clomiphene citrate or gonadotropins to stimulate egg production. If these are ineffective, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is often considered, potentially combined with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A) to screen for chromosomal abnormalities. Egg or embryo freezing may be an option for women planning to delay pregnancy. For women with diminished ovarian reserve, egg donation is another solution. The treatment plan is personalized based on individual health, fertility goals, and the presence of any underlying conditions.
